How to pay your tuition fees

All overseas students need to pay 50% of the tuition fee as a deposit, in order to confirm your place and receive your Certificate or Acceptance for Study (CAS). This payment is made as part of the conditions of your offer to study at Abertay University.

The remaining 50% of the tuition fee is paid when you register as a student at Abertay University. This is when any Abertay Scholarship amount is deducted. Online Registration opens two-three weeks before classes start.

The full tuition fee amount must be paid to the university before your classes start.

Tuition fees cannot be paid by instalments.

You pay your fees here using the International payment page on the Abertay intranet.

Scholarships

We have a wide range of scholarships specifically for international students. Find out more on the scholarship page and don't forget to use the filters on the right hand side if you are 'undergraduate' or 'postgraduate'.

Exchange student fees

If you are studying at Abertay as part of an exchange programme, you will continue to pay tuition fees (if applicable) as normal to your home university.

You do not pay tuition fees to Abertay.

Also included in your fees

If you are an international student, your fees also include free membership to the Abertay Gym, and to the nearby V&A Museum in Dundee. The V&A Dundee is the first design museum in Scotland and the first Victoria and Albert museum based outside London.
