The Careers Service is here to support you with career advice during your studies and after you graduate.
We provide a professional career guidance and information service for students and graduates to help you make informed career choices. We work closely with employers and academic schools to support you by developing your skills to maximise your employability.
The Careers Service can support your career planning in a number of ways, including:
Developing your employability skills.
Identifying potential career options.
Helping you to find work experience.
Helping you to understand and demonstrate the skills needed to market yourself to employers.
We do this through face to face individual support with our professional advisors and group workshops.
One great example of our careers support is through the annual Principal’s Award.
Once you're a student at Abertay, we help you to manage all your career planning from one single dashboard. We also provide information and advice about your job prospects and career planning for the courses you're applying to as well as the opportunities available after you graduate
Abertay Connect is where you can browse jobs and internship opportunities, book appointments with careers staff and sign up for our workshops.
We're also happy to have an informal chat with you at our Open Days and Offer Holder Days throughout the year.
