Subject Information - LLB (Hons) Law

Law at Abertay explores the Scottish legal system and the building blocks of Scots law. 

We'll give you a practical basis in law, so that you get an idea of what it's like to be a real lawyer. From your first year to your last, you'll be making presentations, drafting legal documents and engaging in negotiations. 

You'll graduate with excellent employment prospects. The transferable skills gained during your degree will make you highly sought after by employers in legal and other professions. 

Our Law degree is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland and Faculty of Advocates. Abertay is the Times/Sunday Times UK University of the Year for Teaching Quality 2021.

Sports at Abertay

Sport and physical activity at Abertay University is as much a part of university life as attending lectures and tutorials. Although a small university, Abertay offers a wide range of clubs from the traditional sports such as rugby and football to the more diverse sports such as dance.

Sports Clubs

Becoming a member of a Sports Club at Abertay is a great way to stay fit, meet new people outside your usual social circles and give you that much-needed downtime after a long day of studying.

We currently have lots of sports clubs supporting many competitive and social teams here at Abertay ranging from traditional team sports such as football and rugby to individual sports such as golf and athletics.
