Ceremony Questions and Schedule

About Graduation Ceremonies including how long they last, guest tickets and seating.

Schedule

Winter Graduation

There is one ceremony at 11.00am - usually lasting approximately 1.5 hours.

Allocated seat numbers

When you register, you’ll be given your own invitation card and an allocated seat number.

Your seat number is very important, so keep the card safe and bring it with you to the ceremony.

How many guests can I bring?

Each graduating student has been allocated a maximum of three guest tickets to buy at a cost of £13 each.

Tickets for children under five are free of charge but must be included as part of the number of guest tickets you're allocated. Children aged two and under, and who can sit on an adult’s knee, do not need a ticket.

Extra Guest Tickets

Depending on numbers attending, we may be able to offer further guest tickets nearer the time.  If this is the case, all graduands registered to attend will be emailed after the registration deadline with details about how to buy them.

When/where will I get my tickets?

Registration desks will be set up on campus in the Old College Building, which will allow you to collect your invitation card, seat number and any guests tickets you've purchased. Collection dates and times are 2.00pm-5.00pm on Thursday 28 November and from 8.30am to 10.30am on Graduation Day.
