As an Abertay University graduate, you’ll continue to have access to our Careers Service for up to 3 years after you finish your studies. Our support is also on offer to graduates from other universities for up to one year after graduation. So if you’re needing some support to find a job, or you’re thinking of changing career path, we’re here for you.
If you’re unsure of what career support you need, just reach our on careers@abertay.ac.uk and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Graduate destination surveys are organised by our Careers Team, and are an important tool in helping us shape the future student experience. We rely on the information YOU provide to help inform and shape what our academic and support services look like for new and existing Abertay students.
The Destination of Leavers Survey is run by Abertay's Career Service and gathers information about what you’re getting up to 6 months after graduation. We’re specifically interested in what job and sector you’re working in, and /or what further study opportunities you’ve taken on.
The information you provide will be anonymous, and will help us to inform current and future students of potential work and study opportunities after graduation. The information will also be used within internal departments for reporting purposes.
Be part of the bigger picture.
Graduate Outcomes is a national survey run by HESA that gathers insight into the status of graduates 15 months after finishing their studies. As well as capturing general information about employment / further study status, the survey asks participants to reflect on how their education and education provider have directly contributed to where they are now.

The Abertay Career Mentoring Scheme aims to support and inspire students to develop their employability. Students are matched with professionals in industry who, through a mentoring relationship, will share their knowledge and experience to enable students to develop their own career goals.
Here's what some previous mentors had to say...
"...creates the perfect opportunity to help someone at the start of their career… the free exchange of ideas has been a positive experience… the Mentoring Scheme has a clear objective, which helps focus clearly on the task…"
