Sports Union

Abertay University Sports Union

The primary purpose of the Sports Union is to get “more people, more active, more often."

The Sports Union strives to support its clubs across local, regional and international competition. We believe your first experience in sport is critical to ensuring your ongoing participation and progression, which is why we do everything we can to support your development.

We achieve this in a variety of ways, for example supporting a large number of students through Continuous Personal Development, which provides funding for qualifications in Coaching, Refereeing and Fitness.

Our sports clubs are also typically run by committees which give interested students a platform to set the future direction of their club. Not only is membership of a sports club great for your health and your social life, it can be great for your C.V., too.
