Join us for a talk from legendary sci-fi artist John Harris, who for more than 40 years has been creating images for science fiction, the space industry, including NASA, and his own personal speculations on what possible worlds might be created in the decades to come.
Imagining an artist travelling through space and time, he envisages a future full of mystery and wonder and through a series of paintings attempts to bring a sense of vastness into the present. This sense of the vast, he believes, provides us with a proper perspective from which to view our ambitions as a species.
