Alexander (Sandy) Tarvet is a BAFTA-nominated lecturer in game design and Programme Lead on the UKIE accredited BA (Hons) Game Design and Production programme.
He is currently responsible for the delivery of DES205 Level Design & Scripting (Module Lead), co-delivery of DES207 Media Production (Alongside Kayleigh Macleod, Dayna Galloway, Ege Sezen, and Euan Dempster) and co-delivery of DES402 Critical Design Practice (Alongside Lynn Love and Mona Bozdog). He also supervises and mentors honours projects at undergraduate level.
He graduated from BA(Hons) Game Design and Production Management in 2015 with First-Class Honours. Following that, he worked in the games industry for Tag Games and Stormcloud Games on a number of original IP games and live-ops titles for notable clients.
His research interests are in the design and development of biographical games with a focus on personal health stories.
