Prakriti Rashi

Prakriti was working full-time back in India as a product marketing executive when she decided she would return to higher education to undertake a research degree.

During her time at Abertay, Prakriti had the opportunity to teach, delivering the BMT101 (Nature of Management) course to first-year students. This not only solidified her decision to pursue a PhD but also complemented her research work. Additionally, whilst at Abertay, Prakriti played a key role in leading a panel discussion on improving the international student experience within the University.

Abertay holds a special place for Prakriti, considering it among the top-tier institutions with a strong emphasis on workplace learning.

She has found a newfound interest in cybersecurity, which was influenced by her time at Abertay and that led her to her current role as a marketing manager in a cybersecurity company based in Manchester. Notably, the company has been recognized as one of the top 13 cyber startups in the UK.
