Why we work with Counsellors
Counsellors play a vital role in helping students explore international study opportunities and make informed choices about their future. By working closely with counsellors across the United States, we gain valuable insight into:
-
Student motivations and aspirations.
-
Trends in international education.
-
Areas where students need additional support or information.
-
Changes within the US secondary education landscape.
-
Opportunities to improve our student experience.
The Board helps ensure that our recruitment activity, communications and support services remain relevant, accessible and student focused.

Global Counsellor Tour, Spring 2027
We're still accepting applications for our Spring 2027 Global Counsellor Tour.
Join us on campus in Spring 2027 to learn first-hand about what's on offer here at Abertay University. Meet with academic and support staff, tour our facilities and mingle with our international student body. We’ll also show you around the city and surrounding area, including the beautiful Scottish countryside, so you can explore everything our students have available in their downtime.
It's a fantastic way to find out all about Abertay, and what we can offer your students.
