Abertay University Global Counsellor Tour 2027

📅: Tuesday 2 March — Friday 5 March 2027

📍: Dundee, Scotland (Abertay University)

Join us on campus in Spring 2027 to learn first-hand about the academic offering and student experience at Abertay University, Dundee. When visiting our compact campus in the heart of the city centre, you’ll meet with academic and support staff, tour our state-of-the-art facilities and mingle with our international student body. We’ll also show you around the surrounding area, exploring what the city has to offer our students during downtime.

Whilst the tour will focus on Abertay University, it’s a great chance to learn more about the Scottish Higher Education System in general. Senior staff from both the University’s Executive Team and our International and Partnerships Office will be on hand to discuss the fantastic opportunities Scotland has to offer at both University level and beyond, sharing stories of what some of our Alumni have gone on to achieve both in country and across borders with their degree from Abertay.

What does the tour include?

Abertay University will fund accommodation for three nights (Tuesday—Friday) as well as some meals and cultural excursions. Counsellors attending the tour will be required to expense their own travel to and from Dundee, as well as some meals (at least one lunch and dinner). Applicants will be able to apply for a travel grant to assist in funding their journey.

Hear directly from our 2026 counsellor tour visitors below...

"My experience was excellent and very enriching"

"My experience during the visit to Abertay University was excellent and very enriching. The entire counsellor tour was extremely well organised, with a thoughtful schedule and good spacing between sessions, which allowed us to engage meaningfully without feeling rushed…I was particularly impressed by the interdisciplinary nature of many of the courses offered. The programmes clearly integrate different fields of study, encouraging students to develop practical, industry-relevant skills alongside strong academic knowledge."

"I have so much to tell my students."

"This fly-in has firmly cemented Abertay as a destination to share with my students for many subjects. The level of hands-on learning and practical application embedded in each program was really exciting to see. The sophistication of the games and sports science facilities was also eye-opening. I have so much to tell my students!"

"My experience was 100% fantastic."

"My experience was 100% fantastic. I really enjoyed all of the hands-on activities I was able to try. They were engaging as well as informative about the different programs on offer. I enjoyed getting to know the admissions team both professionally and more socially as well. There was a great balance of events and time that allowed me to digest what had been covered and consider further questions I might need more info on."
