College Qualifications

You can get to university with an access course, HNC or HND. Find out about the qualifications you need and the degrees you can apply for.

How to get here from college

Coming from college usually means you get your HNC or HND first, or an access course like SWAP, then you join one of our degree courses.

Around a third of our students come from college and start in Year 2 with a relevant HNC, or Year 3 with their HND. Crucially, you still do your degree in four years, with either one or two years at college first.

The list of our degrees eligible for this, which year you would start in, and the certificate/diploma grade(s) you need are all here under 'Entry requirements* from College'.

*If you're not sure what Entry Requirements are, check out the bottom of the widening access support and information page.
