Graduates launch new health and well-being business

A pair of Abertay University graduates are preparing to launch a new health and well-being business offering “detox therapies for the mind, body and soul”.

Alison Bower and Lynda Lawrence will open their Beingwell studio on September 12, offering a combination of holistic approaches that encourage people to take a break from their hectic life and invest in well-being.

The entrepreneurs, who both graduated from Abertay earlier this year with degrees in Food Nutrition & Health and Counselling respectively, will provide professional therapy and counselling support to help clients “flourish and thrive”.

“With some small but important life style changes and therapies, we can help you to detox your body, mind and soul” - Alison Bower

Alison said the new team of four staff members, based at 308 Perth Road, have more than 50 years of experience in the industry.

She added: “We believe in giving you the knowledge, understanding and means to improve your own health status where you can, in your own environment.

“Our therapists and counsellor are here to support this personal development and teach you self-empowerment with a completely individual, tailored approach.
