Abertay University will take part in the Teaching Excellence Framework.
The TEF seeks to measure the performance of UK universities in teaching and in supporting the learning of their students.
Each participating university is rated on its students’ views of the quality of the teaching and the support they receive, the contribution the university makes to delivering social mobility through higher education, and the impact it has on the employment prospects of its students.
Participation in the TEF is voluntary. Abertay has chosen to take part to demonstrate the quality of the work it does with its students from Scotland, from elsewhere in the UK and from abroad.
Abertay University is the highest ranked Scottish modern university in the National Student Survey, and in 2016 was shortlisted for the Times Higher Education University of the Year Award.
