‘I am Max: My Huntington's Disease Journey’ is a choice-based, educational game centred around a girl called Max, whose Dad and Grandad have been diagnosed with the genetic disorder known as Huntington’s Disease. Over three episodes, you play as Max at three stages of her life. You explore maintaining your own well-being whilst balancing family responsibilities and household tasks. At each stage, you learn how Huntington’s Disease affects Max's every day; and the relationships she has with those around her. Each episode shows a core symptom of Huntington’s Disease, and how the family must adapt to the changes it brings – both positive and negative.
