Pre-Departure Sessions

Attend one of our monthly online webinars, organised by region, to ensure you're well equipped for joining us in September 2026.

Our Pre-Departure Sessions are designed to help prepare you for coming to Scotland, including how to plan your journey, what to pack, and what to do once you arrive in Dundee. We will also cover important dates, deadlines and other crucial information that you will hopefully find useful.

Each session will begin with a presentation, covering areas such as CAS Shield, visa information, financial requirements, accommodation and more. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

Regional Drop-In Sessions

Join an online drop-in session tailored to your region and discover everything you need to know about applying for September 2026.

Each session will begin with a brief introduction to the university, followed by an open Q&A where we'll address your questions about the application process, tuition, scholarships and student life, relevant to the programme you've chosen and the region you're applying from.

We have separate drop-ins for prospective undergraduate and postgraduate taught students looking to join us from the following regions:

Africa & Middle East
Americas
Asia
Europe & UKi

A note for undergraduate applicants:

If you are planning to apply to more than one UK university and would like to apply via UCAS, the application deadline is Wednesday 14 January 2026.
If Abertay is the only UK university you would like to apply to, you can submit an application directly to us up to Monday 3 August 2026. Early application is encouraged.
