Welcome, future Abertay student!

You’ve done the hard part.

You've chosen a course, completed your personal statement and applied. Now you’re holding an offer from Abertay, Scotland’s TOP Modern University (Guardian University Guide 2026), and we’re delighted.

This hub covers what happens next, from now until September: accepting your offer, sorting funding, choosing accommodation and arriving ready for your first week. Whether you're joining us from Scotland, elsewhere in the UK or from overseas, you'll find your next steps here. It can feel like a lot. We'll break it into simple steps and help you stay on track.

Live and learn in Scotland's sunniest city

Abertay is a compact university with a big focus on real-world learning. You won’t be a number here. Lecturers know students by name and support is easy to access.

Video: Watch what Marc and Josh had to say about studying at Abertay.

You’ll study in a cosmopolitan and walkable city that’s typically more affordable than the UK’s larger student hubs. And our graduates go on to build award-winning games, work in cybersecurity, lead in business and public services, and much, much more.

We’re looking forward to meeting you.
