Demand for highly qualified sport and exercise scientists is greater than ever – a consequence of the need for practitioners equipped to work with elite athletes and teams, as well as professionals who can help prevent chronic diseases. Our Sport and Exercise Science degree gives you the skills and knowledge you need to have a career in these areas.
This degree is very practical, meaning you’ll apply your scientific knowledge in real-world situations. Along the way you will work with athletes, young people, older people, and those suffering from, or at risk of developing, various diseases. This means generating data to help improve performance and recovery, as well as promoting an active and healthy lifestyle to help prevent potentially life-threatening diseases such as type two diabetes.

Dundee is a little pot of gold at the end of the A92 - The Guardian
It’s an extremely friendly city, which is small enough to get from A to B by foot, but large enough to have great shopping and vibrant nightlife.
Dundee is a contemporary city full of energy and vision—it has one of the highest student population ratios in the UK—and it’s the perfect environment for a sport and exercise science student to learn their trade.
