All tenders >£50k will be advertised in the Public Contracts Scotland portal (PCS). Suppliers registered on the system, indicating an interest in commodities relevant to their business areas, will receive email notifications of these opportunities.
Purchasing for supplies and services in excess of £5,000 and below £50,000 which cannot be sourced from an existing contract or framework will be by way of an invitation to quote on the PCS Quick Quote facility.
Suppliers should, therefore, ensure they are registered on PCS and PCS-T to increase visibility to public sector organisations. Guidance on use of the system can be found on the Help & Support page of PCS.
