Thomas Pickford

Raymake

Synopsis

A modern recreation of a personal gaming experience of mine, my favourite childhood game, 1995’s Rayman, showcased as a 3D interactive vertical slice of a reimagined level, depicting memorable elements/moments from the original game. With directed focus on retaining the graphical charm of the original but also exploring how modern graphics could be visualised, both graphical eras can be appreciated through an input allowing the user to switch between the old/new. The user will also be given the freedom to explore the scene using a controllable camera panning from left to right.
