Adapting Stand-Up Comedy to Cinematic Character Animation

A short, 3D animation adapted from a section of Russell Howard’s Recalibrate.

Project Motivation

I have always loved watching cartoons and animated films. The characters are allowed to be much more expressive, and reality can be pushed aside to create really unique entertainment. I wanted to push myself to create something really enjoyable to watch and develop my character acting further. I love watching stand-up and being able to adapt a section of a stand-up special has made this project a blast to work on.
