The Sea Beast

My aim is to sculpt a detailed model of a creature within the art program ZBrush. One reason I’ve chosen to do this is that I’ve never used the program before and it is an industry standard for the role of a 3D character/creature artist to which I am aspiring to be within the gaming industry. By completing this project to a high-quality degree, I aim to not only add something to my portfolio to show my skills in sculpting, but to also plug the large hole of knowledge within my portfolio regarding sculpting and ZBrush as a whole. I will also be looking at what exactly makes a creature scary, as well as investigating how small details are used to elevate the horror aspect of a creature by taking an in-depth look at the designs of existing creatures and horror concepts, especially from horror games.

My own personal interests and likes as well as trying to fill a gap in my knowledge and portfolio.
