Synopsis
A fantasy-themed visual development project, following five characters of different species, travelling across the world of Ardenvale to differing towns and cities in hopes of uniting the creatures residing in the land in hopes of uniting the nation and stopping cultural and class divide between each other. This project has a big fantasy element but I also hope to include cultural and class themes to show the importance of clear representation.
What motivated you to develop/create this project?
A major creative inspiration for this project is Avatar the Last Airbender! The art and storytelling in the show have motivated me to aim high to try and create characters and a story that might one day inspire other people.
What has been a highlight of your time at Abertay?
Definitely being able to connect with amazing artists who I know will be life-long friends.
What are your hopes and future ambitions for after graduation?
I hope to become a visual development artist and get to work with Nico Marlet one day.
