Procedural Generation of 3D Platformer Levels

A level generator for 3D platformer game levels. The generator takes human-made level elements and combines them in a structured manner to create unique platformer levels. The generator uses a mix of the snappable meshes technique and wave function collapse to generate the levels.

What motivated you to develop/create this project?

An interest in procedural generation, having not done much in the past.

What has been a highlight of your time at Abertay?

The game jams and modules where you get to make a game (CMP105, CMP208, DES310).

What are your hopes and future ambitions for after graduation?

To get a job developing games for a studio I'm passionate about.
