Romace is a collaborative visual novel project with a diverse cast of characters from various ethnicities, exploring romance and relationships through an asexual lens. The story focuses on Eunice, a bi-asexual Filipino woman in her late 20s who has to navigate the development of her growing relationships, societal expectations and the inner anxieties of being asexual. There are multiple paths and endings, including platonic, available in our prototype. One path centres around Helena Pinto da Silva, a Brazilian Lesbian who works at the nearby Marine and Aquatic Life Museum. Another path is about Sebastian Pryce, a Welsh bisexual man who works as a Fireman. But don’t worry, Eunice is not alone in this journey. With her cat Muffin by her side, and her childhood best friend Jordan Ramos, a biracial aro-ace man having her back, she can overcome everything.
