Career support for three years after graduation

As an Abertay graduate, you can continue to use our Careers Service and resources for up to three years after you finish your studies.

So if you’re needing some support to find a job, or you’re thinking of changing career path, we’re here for you.

Login to the Abertay Careers Service

  • Visit the Abertay Careers Centre to access our online career tools and resources.

  • Graduates First provides practice for assessment centres, please contact graduatesuccess@abertay.ac.uk to request login details.

  • Find out more about temporary paid work available to you via DUTE who offer opportunities to Abertay graduates (alongside those from the University of Dundee).

  • Access support from Bell Street Ventures to set up your own business, become a freelancer or a contractor.

 

Your Higher Education Achievement Report

When you graduate, you'll get your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR)

Your HEAR is an extended academic transcript. It contains detailed information about your learning and achievements.

All graduates are issued with an electronic HEAR

Along with your degree certificate, your HEAR supports applications for employment and further study.

If you're interested in becoming a mentor for Abertay students in the future, we'd love to hear from you!

The Abertay Career Mentoring Scheme supports and inspires students to develop their employability.

Students are matched with professionals in industry who, through a mentoring relationship, share their knowledge and experience.
