This exhibition took as its starting point a bed of soil, and through a variety of artforms and scientific investigations sought to present soil in its true light as the fragile ground of human culture. With work ranging from prints to performance, the exhibition explored a variety of responses to this most essential of environmental elements.
A group exhibition, Soil featured work by Jonathan Baxter, Stefanie Bourne, Dalziel and Scullion, Sarah Gittins, Jan Hendry, Ashley Nieuwenhuizen and researchers of the SIMBIOS Centre.
