Online Applicant Day

Join Abertay staff and students to learn even more about your chosen course.

Online Applicant Day: Wednesday 21 April (5pm-8pm)

Our online Applicant Days are invitation-only events for people like you who’ve received an offer to join Abertay.

Think of the day as your chance to really get a feel for Abertay and the undergraduate course(s) you've applied for.

By attending an online Applicant Day, you will:

  • See Abertay academics in action, and have the opportunity to pick their brains in the chatrooms.
  • Chat online to current students about life at Abertay.
  • Get all the info you need about student finances and financial support.
  • Explore our campus and facilities without leaving home.
  • Find out what it's like to be a part of our world.

Book your place now using the form on this page - it’ll only take a moment.

Then you'll receive all the details about the day(s) as soon as they're available. See you there!

Happy student
Being able to chat to both the lecturers and students of the course I'm interested in was great fun and very informative. I got to find out the level that the current students are at, as well as chat to them about what they like most about their courses.

Online Applicant Day FAQs

Here are the answers to Applicant Day questions we often get asked. If you need more information, please get in touch by emailing sro@abertay.ac.uk

What happens at an online Applicant Day?

Tailored exclusively for applicants who've received an offer to study with us, an online Applicant Day gives you the opportunity to get beneath the skin of your chosen course.

Typically, you'll be able to:

  • Speak with academic staff who will guide you in your learning
  • Discover (virtually) the campus and the facilities for your chosen subject
  • Chat online to current students about their experiences at university
  • Get more info about coming to Abertay from college

You’ll also find out more about:

  • Accommodation options
  • Sport and leisure opportunities, societies and available support
  • Fees and finance
  • Learning and disability support
  • Careers support and study abroad opportunities
  • Practical information and support if you're an international applicant

What time do the online Applicant Days start and finish?

  • 9am-1pm, Saturday 21 March 2021
  • 5pm-8pm, Wednesday 20 April 2021

Remember, to get the full experience, we recommend you tune in live. However, we'll be making all sessions available after Applicant Day, which means you won't miss a thingeven if you can't make it on the day.

Can family and friends tune in?

Yes, of course. On the day, simply share the live link with your family and friends.

What if I’ve applied for more than one course?

If you’d like additional help in coming to a decision, we'd always recommend speaking to the academics for each course to help you decide.

Be sure to ask questions in the chatroom for the course you've applied for or during the Q&A events with academics and current students.
