VCU Summer School

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is one of Abertay's U.S. partner universities, located in Richmond, Virginia. Abertay and VCU have teamed up to offer Abertay students interested in Business, Management and Marketing a two-week programme in Richmond and the surrounding area, including visits to companies and sightseeing, for example in Washington, DC.

*Please note that you will be required to organise your own flights to and from Richmond and that flight costs are not included in the programme fee.

Cost and financial support

Cost: £800, including accommodation, excursions and other activities during the two weeks, but excluding travel cost and food (except for some free meals built into the programme)

Financial support: The International Office offers a grant of £400 through the Short-Term International Mobility Scholarship.

You will need to attach

-          a current copy of your transcript (from OASIS);

-          a current CV;

-          a short letter of recommendation by one of your academic tutors, describing your academic performance as well as social and intercultural awareness;

-          evidence of annual household income if less than £24,000 (e.g. SAAS loan award notice).
