Undergraduate Entry Requirements

General entry requirements for the USA are listed here. However, please see a table of more specific entry requirements below.

 

School of Science, Engineering & Technology US High School Diploma (> 3.0 on 4.0 scale) along with either AP or SAT scores

BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science

BSc (Hons) Forensics Science

High School Diploma GPA of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) plus one of the following:

  • 1100 in New SAT Score to include 550 in each component
  • ACT score of 26
  • 3 AP Tests at grade 4
  • 3 SAT Subject Tests at 550

Essential subject required: Biology or Chemistry.
Note: A test will be required to demonstrate knowledge in the essential subject.

MEng/BEng (Hons) Civil and Environmental Engineering

High School Diploma GPA of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) plus one of the following:

  • 1100 in New SAT Score to include 550 in each component
  • ACT score of 26
  • 3 AP Tests at grade 4
  • 3 SAT Subject Tests at 550

BSc (Hons) Food & Consumer Science

BSc (Hons) Food, Nutrition & Health

High School Diploma GPA of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) plus one of the following:

  • 1100 in New SAT Score to include 550 in each component
  • ACT score of 26
  • 3 AP Tests at grade 4
  • 3 SAT Subject Tests at 550

BSc (Hons) Computing

BSc (Hons) Ethical Hacking

High School Diploma GPA of 3.0 (on a 4-point scale) plus one of the following:

  • 1100 in New SAT Score to include 550 in each component

An Art portfolio will also need to be submitted.

Postgraduate Taught Entry Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) with a GPA of 3.0-3.33 corresponds to a UK 2:1 (Upper Second) and a GPA of 2.7-3.0 is compares to a UK 2:2 (Lower Second) degree.
