Meadowside Halls Building
Meadowside is the closest residence we have to campus. It is literally at the end of the road and is no more than two minutes away from class. It is also two minutes from the shops, pubs and clubs of Dundee, meaning it is well situated for everything.
Purpose built for student accommodation, Meadowside has 69 bedrooms divided into nine-bedroom flats. Every bedroom is en-suite, and every flat has a large kitchen/living area.
Meadowside also has a ‘barrier free’ flat, specifically designed for students with specific physical needs.
A secure bike shed is available for anyone keen on the two-wheeled method of transport.

When allocating accommodation the University gives priority to new students/first entrants and to overseas students who are new to Dundee (and studying for 1 full academic year). The University's accommodation is self-catering and the majority of first year undergraduates will be housed in blocks of university flats.
You may state your accommodation preference, but while we will make every effort to match your preference, limited availability means this cannot be guaranteed. It is essential that any special needs and/or requirements are entered on the application form.
Applications will only be considered from students who are prepared to accept the terms of the Student Residences Agreement for their full period of study in the relevant academic year. This is a legally binding agreement and students should not accept the terms without fully understanding their meaning.
