"Hello, I’m Erin, the character artist/animator working at Puny astronaut on our first game, "Skye". I handle every aspect of the character process, from the very creative right down to the technical stuff, and I love every second of it! I am also one of Dundee's growing number of Women in Games (WIGJ) Ambassadors. Through this I have met a lot of amazing people and now I want to help other aspiring games developers do the same."
I've worked in games for 17 years, 12 of those in a ‘Lead Design’ capacity on teams from 5 to 80 people. Along the way, I've made games in a load of genres and design disciplines; level design and mission scripting, puzzle design, economies, balancing, combat, locomotion, music, UI/ UX, narrative, publishing and - F2P mobile.
I've designed games for the likes of Sega, Square Enix, Microsoft, Activision, Zynga. I'm as passionate about the design & development process as I am games.
Eurogamer once described one of my mechanics as "one of the worst ideas in the history of games"
