Dr Kimberley Bennett: Kimberley is the project leader for the PHATS team. She is a comparative physiologist who is really interested in how animals cope with extremes in their environment. This can include anything from natural to man-made stressors. An important component of animals’ ability to cope with stress is their regulation of energy balance. This field of research has important cross over with the field of obesity and diabetes research in humans. You can find out more about her research and teaching interests here.
