James Turton

James Turton - Postdoctoral researcher
About James

James is a postdoctoral researcher who has worked extensively on fat tissue and its regulation by dihydrotestosterone in humans and in mice. He came to us from Imperial College London. It’s been a big shift and an interesting challenge to work on a species for which there is no genome, no nice cell lines and you have to get mucky to catch it!  His responsibility is for the molecular biology, analysing the samples for gene expression and activation of signalling pathways.
