My degree was extremely important in helping me to pursue my career! Without it, I would have had a major disadvantage against other candidates in the application and interview process for the job I have now. My degree has opened up a lot of opportunities for me.
Dundee is a small but great city where the people are friendly and welcoming. As for Abertay, I received amazing support throughout my 4 years being a student, but the lasting impression for me was the support I received when I finally got diagnosed with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia in my third year. I would not have achieved a first class degree without the lovely staff who taught me and made me feel confident that I could do it, despite my learning difficulties. I really cannot thank them all enough.
