"My memories of Abertay itself will always be of its approachable, friendly staff and students from all walks of life – a real mixed bag!"
Mel Smith | British School, Netherlands | Teacher

Abertay has been very important in helping to pursue my chosen career. In fact, between finishing exams and graduating I was interviewed for my first graduate job in science and medical publishing. The day after my graduation ball, I was offered it! Obviously I accepted; even in my hungover state I understood it was a fantastic opportunity!

Dundee is my hometown and, to be honest, when I was deciding where to study for the second time around as a mature student, it was the easiest option for me financially. Dundee is a small, friendly city and a fun place to be a student. My memories of Abertay itself will always be of its approachable, friendly staff and students from all walks of life – a real mixed bag!

If you're nervous at all about student life and whether you've picked the right university or city, don't be! Abertay is a great place to study and Dundee is a fun city to be in during those times. Oh and you should probably try a deep fried Mars bar...
