How important was your Abertay degree in helping you to pursue your career?

After studying Game Design Production Management at Abertay, I learned my true passion. I want to be on the business and management side of any field, not just the game industry. I would say, therefore, it was very important for me because it helped me uncover a path to a career that I am excited to follow.

What is your lasting impression of Abertay and Dundee?

It is quite weird. I felt at home during my year at Abertay and in Dundee. I think it must be the friendly nature of the staff and the Scottish people. Having been to several large cities like New York City, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. The people in Scotland have a charm that is like no other, which made it more welcoming and homely.

What was your most memorable moment as a student?

The most memorable moment I have of Abertay is going to London for the Young Epilepsy Champions Awards. I was a member of the Siobhan Anne Luckett Drama Society (SAL Drama) and, due to our success of raising funds for Young Epilepsy, the society was nominated in the Organisation category. What made it even more special was that I went with my best friend as representatives of SAL Drama and of Abertay.
