A mixture of sad and grateful for the opportunity to study and work in such an amazing and positive environment, and absolute gratitude for the continued support the university supplies to those moving on to industry. Why did you decide to study at Abertay?

I decided to study here because of the university's unparalleled reputation for games development within both the student body and industry.

What were the highlights of your time at the university?

The clear highlight of my time here has been the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals on our third year project, with our game even being shown to publishers at a major international Games Conference.

The time working closely with my peers in other fields such as art, production and sound was also invaluable in understanding how these very different skills can collaborate to create something special!

How important were the staff towards your experience?

The staff at Abertay have been incredible, each of them push us to do our best work, and are always happy to help those in need of it. Their experience and knowledge of their fields as well as the wider industry has been of great importance to me.

What’s your long term ambition?

To apply my passion to every project I am presented with, particularly in Real-time Strategy, open world sandbox, and puzzle experiences. I aspire to become adept in my passion for games design and architectures, and bringing the work of artists and producers to life.
