Abertay University, in partnership with the new V&A museum in Dundee, is hosting a conference on 17th October that will ask what are the roles of design, creativity and play in higher education teaching and learning?
We will also be offering an exciting pre-conference programme on 16th October comprising: workshop on the use of Serious Lego, a tour of the V&A, and an evening reception at Discovery Point, Dundee. Early registration is advised as there will be a limited number of tickets!

Keynote Speaker – Alison James, University of Winchester
Prof. Alison James is a National Teaching Fellow and an accredited LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator. Amongst her publications, she is the author of Engaging Imagination: helping students become creative and reflective thinkers (2014) with Professor Stephen Brookfield and co-editor with Chrissi Nerantzi of The Power of Play in HE: creativity in tertiary learning (December 2018).
