Collecting Keys FAQs

What date can I move into my room?

You can move on from Arrivals weekend and we will email you about when that is, and where to collect your keys nearer the time.

If you arrive before these dates, there are guest houses and hotels nearby.

If you arrive after these dates please contact to make arrangements.

What do I need to do before I get my keys?

The Safety Induction MUST be completed before you can get your keys. This is in OASIS.

We will email you when the Induction is ready for you. Once you have completed the Safety Induction you can collect your keys.

Who do I contact to collect my keys?

Contact with any questions. We will do our best to help.



What do I need to bring with me to collect my keys?

Please bring the following with you when you arrive to collect your keys:

  • A copy of your lease OR a copy of your accommodation acceptance email on your smart device (e.g. phone, tablet);

  • A form of photographic identification (such as your passport or driving licence).

How do I get my keys?

Keiller Court & Parker House: Collect keys from their receptions at the specified date and time they’ve given you.

If you can’t, contact them direct to discuss other arrangements.

What if I lose my keys?

During office hours (Monday–Friday 9am–5pm) please contact the Residence Office on 01382 308049.

Outside these times, call Security on 01382 308008.

Non-emergency call-outs may incur charges and any loss will result in a charge per key. But if you happen to find your keys and return the spare set to us, we will refund the charge.
