You can find the full accommodation application process here.
To apply you need to have ACCEPTED our offer to study your course via UCAS.
This is because we need to know you are definitely attending Abertay. For new students, this confirmation is provided to us directly by UCAS when you confirm your offer to study.
You can't apply for accommodation until this has been done.
Our online application goes live in the Spring of the year you are applying for University. This covers Parker House and Keiller Court halls, where we have a large number of rooms set aside.
As soon as it opens we email all our offer holders. We know you want to get your accommodation organised, so please be assured we only start to give out rooms when application opens.
Although these halls do let some of their rooms directly to students from other institutions, none of the rooms for our allocation are given out until our online application opens in the Spring.
Please phone us on +44 (0)1382 308049 and let us know.
We'll then send you an accommodation form and information by post. Please note that the paper application will only be available once the online application is open and you have firmly accepted an offer to study with us.
This is your Abertay University IT Account. You need your OASIS Account to be actived to apply for your accommodation.
If you haven't done this yet, look for an email called "Abertay University IT Account and Instructions" from the IS Service Desk and follow the instructions. Then activate your OASIS Account.
You must already have set up and activated your OASIS Account. If you haven't done this yet, look for the email entitled Abertay University IT Account and Instructions from the IS Service Desk and follow the instructions.
This will only work if you are an applicant/new student coming to Abertay. Direct applicants will have an OASIS account when you applied.
If you have any questions about your username and password, contact our Information Services Team who can help by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will receive an email from the Residences Office once your application has been received.
You will then receive another email within seven days confirming availability and the details of any offer.
If you hold a conditional firm offer of study, you will be given a provisional accommodation offer. This will be confirmed once you have met the conditions of your study offer.
If you hold an unconditional firm offer, you can accept it online using OASIS.
You will need to make a rent prepayment in GBP to accept the offer. The exact amount will be in your offer email. This can be paid online here.
