Chaplaincy facilities

The University Chapel

Chapel A small Chapel has been created in the former room 2034 (Old College). The Chapel has been set apart as a place of quietness and peace at the busy heart of the University.

The Chapel is open during the day and evening for prayers and services, but also as a place for students and staff to use whenever they may feel the need to be still in a quiet, restful setting.

Details of dates and times of Chaplaincy prayers, services and events are posted on the notice board outside the Chapel or notified through the usual communication channels.

Muslim Prayer Room

The Muslim Prayer Room is maintained by the Abertay Islamic Society and situated on Level 2, Old College, Room 2518c.

The Coffee Shop

Coffee
The Coffee Shop provides a place to relax and meet with colleagues and friends in a convenient central location. The vending machines offer a range of hot drinks and snacks. The Coffee Shop is available for use by all students and staff.

The Chaplaincy Office and Vestry

The Chaplain may be contacted at the office between 9.00am and 5.00pm daily (Monday to Friday) or by telephone.

Contact with the Chaplaincy team can always be made, during the university day, through the Chaplaincy Office, and the Honorary Chaplains are regular visitors to the University.
