Support for students at the University is provided by Student Services that comprises of: the Career Development Centre; Disabled Student Support; Student Academic Support; Counselling; International Advice and Welfare; Student Funding Advice; English for International Students and Chaplaincy.
Student Services aims to provide high quality professional, non-judgemental, confidential and impartial counselling, advice, assistance and information on a broad range of issues to the students of the University in an accessible format.
In May 2010 Student Services undertook an external review of it provision in relation to the quality of the information advice and guidance it provides and was awarded Matrix accreditation. The Matrix Standard© is the national quality standard for information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work.
