What our students say
"I applied to Abertay on the advice of a former student. I needed to increase my knowledge of environmental issues to help with my career with a large environmental consultancy. The course I chose provided a good balance of technical detail, science and awareness of other issues. My dissertation topic was of direct use to my employer and I am now on full time secondment for Scottish Water managing their network model library."
Kevin, now working for a business consultancy group, Scotland
"The course equipped me with professional and technical skills specifically in waste and wastewater management; I am now applying the acquired knowledge in my current work which consists of solid waste management as I am now employed as Project Associate for the ‘Consolidated Waste Management Project’. This project is funded by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) but implemented by Kigali City Council. Additionally, I advise on sanitation related matter as Kigali City Council is now phasing in the implementation of Kigali’s Sanitation Master Plan, starting with sewage treatment and management."
