This course is designed for graduates from a wide range of backgrounds who are either keen to seek an academic qualification in this area or who wish to focus on the management of financial resources within the global economy.  Recent economic events have reinforced the importance of sustainable management of financial resources and the huge importance of financial markets and the impact on the real economy.

The maturing financial markets in countries such as India and China are also of critical importance to the global economy. The management and accounting of financial assets requires a deep knowledge and understanding of the theories and drivers which impact on this globally critical area. Every organisation must have knowledge of the financial and accounting implications of the future global economy to both survive and grow. Recent events in global financial markets have emphasised the need for such knowledge, and this course will equip you to understand the key forces which shape the future.

Our MSc/PGDip Finance, delivered by respected researchers, offers the blend of theory, knowledge, analytical and practical skills required for understanding the global financial markets. This course will enable you to understand the key issues which relate to finance within business and provide essential knowledge for the success of organisations which compete within the global economy.

Those exiting the course after successful completion of the taught component (i.e. Postgraduate Diploma) would be eligible for the award of Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) Finance.
