Freedom of Information

Enquiry form

The University of Abertay Dundee endeavours to provide members of the public with recorded information held by the University describing its activities. The University is fully committed to upholding the spirit of the Freedom of Information legislation, and to promote its activities by making available relevant information, through a number of channels including its Model Publication Scheme

The University fully believes in its mission of "breaking barriers". To support this it will make every effort to make available where practical and permissible additional information to members of the public where routinely published documents do not provide the information and or details required.

Members of the public have protected rights under law to request information from the University (and indeed other organisations) specifically:
  • Under the provisions in the Data Protection Act 1988, you have the right to ask the University to release information about you as an individual; and
  • Information related to the University and its activities can be sought under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act
