Glasgow University as a Research Assistant before entering the Postgraduate

in 1982.
On completion of the Diploma in Careers Guidance, I took up employment
with Tayside Region working as a Careers Adviser in Perth and Kinross,
working mainly with school pupils. In 1988, I moved to Lincolnshire
and began working as a Careers Adviser with FE students and adults
within Grimsby College of Technology and Arts.
On returning to Scotland, I began working part-time within the University
of Abertay Dundee, assisting with the collection of student destination
statistics, before taking up the post of Careers Adviser in 1998.
