There is a lot that can be done to prepare for interviews. Here are some suggestions to help you improve your interview techniques:

• Attend workshops run by your Career Development Centre
• Arrange a mock interview with a real employer. We have employers coming to the university who have agreed to do mock interviews with our students
• Ask a careers adviser to run you through a mock interview. Contact Carol Grant at c.grant@abertay.ac.uk to arrange a suitable time
• Consult the range of resources held in the Careers Service on interview techniques
• Try an on-line seminar on going for interviews. Visit SORTED (Scottish Online Route To Employability and Career Development) and have a go!
• View the employers' profiles at the Prospects website
