Looking for Graduate Work

If you are ready to start looking for a graduate job vacancy why not visit our online vacancy and events database.  Our vacancy site is part of a wider shared vacancy service that aims to promote graduate level vacancies to students across Scotland.  You will need to register to use this service for this first time.  Once registered you can:

  • search for graduate jobs (for final year, postgraduates and recent graduates)
  • sign-up for career events, workshops, presentations and fairs taking place at Abertay
  • search for part-time and casual work (new from Sep 11)
  • search for work experience (for internships, vacation schemes and other types of work experience)
  • search for voluntary work

TalentScotland Graduate Placements

If you are a graduate still looking for some work experience this is a great opportunity. The programme provides graduates with a minimum of £14,000 (pro rata) to work with small to medium companies on specific short-term projects. Projects can last from 3-12 months and are located across Scotland within the private and voluntary sectors. The programme is open to both home and international students, but restrictions do apply so please visit their website for full details. You can also discuss these

Career fairs provide an ideal opportunity to chat with potential employers and source possible vacancy opportunities, it’s a good idea to go armed with a few copies of your latest CV!
