I began working at Abertay in 1994 -  the year we gained university status.  I spent my first five years in the student records office as an admissions assistant, a job which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was at this time that I decided to complete my degree and spent two years at evening classes to achieve a BA (Hons) Commerce. 

In 1999, after a period of maternity leave, I decided to put my degree to good use and apply for other posts within the University.  I  have been working with the Career Development Centre since 1999, first as the Jobshop Administrator, and now as the Information Officer for the service.
